This red wine brownie will quickly become one of your favorite brownie recipes ever because it combines two of my favorite things into one rich and decadent sweet treat.

To be completely honest, this recipe was made so that I don’t have to pick between having red wine or having brownies… you know balance and whatnot. So I figured that by combining both ingredients I would be able to enjoy everything even more.

What’s the best red wine to use?

Since I don’t drink alcohol, I used non-alcoholic red wine. It tastes exactly like wine but has the alcohol removed. If you won’t mind using regular wine then you can do with your favorite red wine. The flavor is amazing!

Can kids have these brownies too? Can I have wine brownies if I’m pregnant?

This brownie recipe has about 1/2 a serving or red wine. The alcohol (if using regular wine) will bake off in the oven but at the end of the day you can do whatever you’re comfortable with.

If you are pregnant, use your best judgement when it comes to this recipe or discuss it with your doctor ๐Ÿ™‚

I have some Concentrated red wine that I may try this withโ€”-but cannot state the brand as we sometimes just mix any leftover wine together in a pot and then reduce. Then we can add it to sauces or now it looks like I can try in this recipe. Not happening soon, but adding to my queue for next time I want to make brownies.
