It has a strong banana flavor with a touch of sweetness. However, since we’re recreating this popular Korean drink at home, we’ll be using fresh bananas to flavor it, rather than the artificial flavors typically used in these types of drinks.
Of course, if you want to try the Korean traditional banana milk, you can find it at any Korean convenience stores like H-mart, or you can just get it online here.

Frequently asked questions – FAQ
How to store this banana-flavored milk
Store your banana milk in an airtight container, such as a jar or bottle, in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Shake well before drinking, as some natural separation may occur.
Can I make this with a frozen banana?
You definitely can. The drink might be a little thicker at first, but it will eventually get back to the right smooth and creamy texture.
What if I don’t want any added sugar?
This drink will be slightly less sweet, so depending on your taste buds, you might be able to get away with it. Adding an extra half or whole banana would also help but that would make it a little thicker which isn’t exactly what we are going for.
Can I make this dairy-free?
Yes, use any non-dairy milk that you prefer. Think cashew milk, coconut milk, or soy milk.
