This Starbucks white chocolate mocha sauce is one of my favorite homemade coffee recipes to keep in the fridge. It’s rich, creamy, and designed to recreate the flavor and texture of the white chocolate syrup Starbucks uses in drinks like white chocolate mochas, frappuccinos, and seasonal favorites.
Unlike store-bought sauces, this recipe uses simple dairy ingredients you can easily find at the grocery store, no specialty cocoa butter or hard-to-find products required. It melts smoothly into hot drinks, blends beautifully into iced coffee, and thickens just enough in the fridge to feel like the real thing.

Let’s Chit Chat!
White chocolate has always felt like one of those quietly luxurious flavors to me. I’ve been making this white mocha sauce ever since my husband and I got together, and it’s become one of our favorite little indulgent treats.
Because this recipe makes a smaller batch, it’s perfect for just the two of us. It feels special without being over-the-top, whether we’re making iced lattes, warm milk with a spoonful of sauce, or recreating our favorite Starbucks drinks at home, it’s truly the best!
Honestly, once you realize how easy it is to make, it’s hard to go back to paying $5–$8 per drink.

Why This White Chocolate Mocha Sauce Works
- Made with real white chocolate for authentic flavor
- Sweetened condensed milk adds richness and sweetness similar to Starbucks
- A blend of heavy cream and evaporated milk creates a smooth, pourable sauce
- Thickens naturally in the fridge, just like Starbucks sauces
- Melts easily into hot drinks and blends smoothly into iced coffee
This recipe was tested specifically so it behaves like a true white chocolate mocha sauce, not a grainy or overly thin syrup.

Thanks for thins
How long will it keep in the fridge? Have you frozen and thawed some? Still good?
Thanks
You’re very welcome! It’ll keep well in the fridge for up to 2 weeks in a sealed jar or container! You can also freeze it for up to 2 months. Just thaw it in the fridge overnight and give it a good stir or gentle reheat before using. It should taste just as creamy and delicious! 💛
how long can I keep refrigerated?
You can keep it refrigerated for up to 2 weeks in a sealed jar. Just give it a good stir or a quick warm-up before using 🙂
So when preparing the coffee you put milk+espresso+how much of this white mocha sauce?
That honestly just depends on your taste preferences. 2 tablespoons can be enough for the sweetness, but using 3 tablespoons gives you more of that white chocolate flavor.
hey, they dont sell evaporated milk in my country. what would i be able to substitute it with? 🙂
You can use half-and-half or whole milk 🙂
This recipe is divine! I don’t put anything sweet in my coffee but my 20yo daughter loves it. And I love when she saves her money from the frufru coffee shops. Winning.
Glad she likes it!
Could you freeze half to save for another time?
Yes 🙂
This is delicious!
Just an FYI: this made about 14 oz. of syrup.
With a shot of espresso and 4 oz. of foamed milk, I used 3 T.
Which is perfect for me who always asks for one less of however many pumps Starbucks puts in their hot drinks. Not overly sweet.
It was sweet enough with 2 ? But the white chocolate flavor was much more subtle.
I have it chilling in my fridge and it’s way better than any store bought White Chocolate Syrups that I have tried.
Thank you for the tip!
