Ingredients for this maple cinnamon latte

Here are the ingredients you will need to make this maple latte recipe. Make sure to scroll down to the recipe card for the detailed ingredient measurements.

  • Whole milk: I liked using whole milk but feel free to use any milk you’d like. Nonfat milk, 2% milk, dairy-free milk, or even half and half would be great for this recipe.
  • Fresh espresso shot(s): The better the coffee quality the better your drink will taste. We are using two shots in this iced latte but feel free to use a single shot is that is what you prefer.
  • Pure Maple syrup: Using the real deal will give our drink that delicious maple flavor and sweeten the latte.
  • Ground cinnamon

Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ

How to store this delicious cup of coffee?

In the rare instances where you might have some leftovers, I would recommend removing the ice cubes from it and adding the rest of the maple latte to a mason jar. Close the lid tightly then place it in the fridge for up to 2 days. Once you are ready to enjoy it either add more ice cubed to it or warm it up in the microwave.

Can I make this into a hot latte?

Of course! All you have to do is steam your milk, mix in the maple syrup and cinnamon then top it all off with the freshly brewed espresso shots.

How can I steam my milk to make this drink?

The simplest way to do this is to add your milk to a milk steamer but you could also add a small saucepan and heat it up over medium heat until it is warm and frothy. No need to boil it.

Can I make this maple latte dairy-free?

Absolutely this recipe works with any type of milk. So in this instance, I would recommend using your favorite dairy-free milk instead of whole milk. Some of my favorites are

  • Almond milk
  • Cashew milk
  • Soy milk
  • Coconut milk
  • Extra creamy oat milk

Can I make this latte if I don’t have an espresso machine?

I get it, not everyone has fancy equipment to make espresso shots but there are a few ways to go about this. The easiest way to go about this would be to mix about ¼ cup hot water with 1 tablespoon of instant coffee. This will not taste exactly like an espresso shot but it will do the job.

You can also get this little Italian espresso maker or Moka pot and make your espresso with it.

Can I turn this into a maple vanilla latte?

Sure! Add in a splash of vanilla extract to the espresso maple syrup mixture and give it a good stir. You can then top it with milk, and ice and enjoy!
