  • Butter โ€“ This will give that perfect buttery flavor to your cookies!
  • Light brown sugar โ€“ This will keep our cookies extra soft with a nice molasses flavor.
  • Granulated sugar โ€“ I like to use a combination of sugars in my cookies. I use less granulated sugar because cookies that are too sweet are overkill.
  • An egg โ€“ Weโ€™re using large eggs for this one.
  • Flourโ€“ I use all-purpose flour for this recipe, but feel free to experiment with whole wheat flour for a healthier option.
  • Cornstarchโ€“ This is my secret ingredient to extra chewy cookies!
  • Bakingsoda
  • Salt โ€“ when using unsalted butter, always add a bit of salt to your baked goods to add a depth of flavor.
  • Vanillaย โ€“ Pretty much the most magical ingredientโ€ฆ Makes everything taste amazing!
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chipsย โ€“ I used regular-sized semi-sweet chocolate chips but if you have something else feel free to use that! White chocolate chips would also be fun in these homemade cookies!
  • Double stuff Oreo- Make sure to use a double stuff Oreo in the center for an extra wow factor.

Oh no I am so sorry to hear that! What was wrong with them?
Try making the recipe as is without doubling because some measurements might’ve gotten lost in translation maybe?
