Frequently asked questions – FAQ
How to store leftover dip?
If you have any leftover cake batter dip, wrap it up with plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Once you are ready to serve it, pull it out of the fridge 10-20 minutes before enjoying it.
Is there anything else I can use instead of cream cheese?
Absolutely! You can use Greek yogurt instead of the cream cheese for a much lighter dip, plus it would have a little extra protein in there as well.
Can I use white cake mix to make this recipe?
You sure can! I would recommend adding ¼ teaspoon of cake batter extract and ⅓ cup of rainbow sprinkles in there to mimic the funfetti cake flavor.
What to serve with this funfetti cake dip?
Some of my favorite things to serve with this dip have to be:
- Vanilla wafers
- Fresh fruit like strawberries and apple slices.
- Teddy Graham crackers
- Pretzels
- Animal crackers
