I made these last week; they were AWESOME!! They tasted exactly like Kentucky Butter Cake, but in cookie form. I love that the recipe only made 6 cookies since I was trying them for the first time. They were soft, buttery, cake-like and the buttery glaze topped it all off!!!
I’m so glad you liked it!
These were my first copycat attempt and omg they were so good! I loved them even more after they sat a little bit and the glaze and powder sugar crystallized. 10/10!! I have already shared the recipe and your site!
Thank you so much!
Terrible – no flavor at all. Unfortunately, absolutely nothing like the real deal.
Aww, that’s too bad
Holy moly these are good. I made smaller scoops and ate them all!!! Saved perfectly in the fridge after a few days so I can eat them one by one.

Loved making these, turned out super soft and the sauce on top was delicious! Curious do they stay good in fridge or counter better for left overs? I don’t want them to harden up but not sure if they go bad on the counter….thanks!
You can do either! You can store these cookies at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 4 days and You can also store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 7 days. However way you choose it will taste just as good!😊
