Here are the ingredients you will need to make these halloween cookies. Make sure to scroll down to the recipe card for the full detailed ingredient measurements.

  • Butter โ€“ This will give that perfect buttery flavor to your cookies!
  • Light brown sugar will keep our cookies extra soft with a nice molasses flavor.
  • Granulated sugar โ€“ I like to use a combination of sugars in my cookies. I use less granulated sugar because cookies that are too sweet are overkill.
  • An egg โ€“ Weโ€™re using large eggs for this one.
  • Flourโ€“ I use all-purpose flour for this recipe but feel free to experiment with whole wheat flour for a healthier option.
  • Cornstarchโ€“ This is my secret ingredient to extra chewy cookies!
  • Baking soda
  • Salt โ€“ when using unsalted butter, always add a bit of salt to your baked goods to add a depth of flavor.
  • Vanilla extract is pretty much the most magical ingredientโ€ฆ Makes everything taste amazing!
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips โ€“ I used regular-sized semi-sweet chocolate chips but if you have something else feel free to use that! White chocolate chips would also be fun in these homemade cookies!
  • Halloween Oreos- I usually like to use double stuff Oreos but I don’t think I’ve seen that in the Halloween ones. The bright orange Oreo creme makes for the perfect little surprise once you bite into your cookie.
  • Halloween sprinkles
