Are Levain’s chocolate chip walnut cookies worth the price?

100% YES! But there is a catch! These cookies are only worth the price is you purchase them fresh from the bakery. I have seen them sold in grocery stores like Whole foods but they don’t turn out as yummy as if you would buy them in-store!

If you are in NYC I definitely recommend buying them and trying them for yourself. But if you are not, you have to try my version!

How can I reheat Levain’s chocolate chip walnut cookies to make them taste fresh again?

Levain’s chocolate chip walnut cookies are best eaten fresh, but if you have leftovers, you can reheat them to enjoy them again. Here’s how to reheat Levain’s chocolate chip walnut cookies:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the cookies on the baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
  4. Heat the cookies in the oven for 3-5 minutes, or until they are warm and the chocolate chips are melted.
  5. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

You can also microwave the cookies for 10-15 seconds, but be careful not to overheat them, as this can cause the cookies to become too soft or dry. Keep in mind that reheating cookies may change their texture and they may not be as fresh as when they were first baked.

I tried to make this and my dough was too dry and crumbles??

    1. Chahinez says:

It sounds like the dry and crumbly dough might have been due to not using a scale for accurate measurements. Using a scale can help ensure that the ingredients are measured precisely, which is especially important in small-batch recipes like single-serve cookies. If you give it another try with a scale, you might get better results!

Almost 1300 calories for a single cookie? Are you sure…?

    1. Chahinez says:

The nutrition info is an automated feature that may not always be accurate. But after seeing your comment, I just did the math and it is pretty close to 1000 calories, but that’s why it tastes so good LOL.
