Instant Pot Apple Sauce Recipe ingredients

Ingredients for this instant pot apple sauce recipe

Here are the ingredients you will need to make this treat bursting with fresh apple flavor. Make sure to scroll down to the recipe card at the bottom of the page for the detailed ingredient measurements.

  • A Mix of Tart & Sweet Apples are the star of the recipe. You’ll want to peel, core, and slice them. I used a mix of Granny Smith apples and Honeycrisp apples, but you can use whatever type of apples you prefer.
  • Water: helps create steam in the Instant Pot, which softens the apples and prevents them from sticking or burning during cooking.
  • Lemon Juice: brightens the flavors and helps preserve the color of the applesauce.
  • Cinnamon Sticks: infuse the applesauce with a warm and earthy spice that enhances the natural sweetness.
