Ingredients
6
medium/large apples
peeled, cored, and sliced. I used apple crisp, and granny smith.
1/2
cup
water
1
tbsp
lemon juice
2
cinnamon sticks
or use 1/4-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1-2 tbsp sugar or honey (to taste-optional)
Instructions
Add apples, water, lemon juice, and optional cinnamon or sweetener to the Instant Pot.
6 medium/large apples,
1/2 cup water,
1 tbsp lemon juice,
2 cinnamon sticks
Set to “Pressure Cook” on high for 7 minutes.
Allow a 10-minute natural pressure release, then quick release.
Remove the cinnamon sticks then mash or blend the applesauce to your desired texture.
Taste and add more sweetener if needed.
