  1. Dust a baking sheet with powdered sugar
  2. Slice the jumbo marshmallows in half.
  3. Place the cut side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Melt the red candy melts in the microwave then transfer to a piping bag.
  5. Do the same with the semi-sweet or dark chocolate then transfer to a piping bag.
  6. Snip off a tiny bit from the edge of the piping bag and pipe a little red dot at the bottom of the marshmallow (as shown in the photo) to make the nose.
  7. Do the same with the semi-sweet chocolate and pipe the eyes and the antlers on the marshmallows and let them set.
  8. Use in your hot cocoa or store for later!

Any size would work but smaller marshmallows would make this a whole lot harder. I think using the largest jumbo marshmallows would make the job easier plus I think they look more cute when they cover a good majority of the drink!

No, chocolate is great but you can also your a dark candy melt color to decorate your marshmallows.

  • Dust a large baking sheet with powdered sugar.
    1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • Slice the jumbo marshmallows in half then place the cut side down on the baking sheet.
    10 extra large marshmallows
  • Melt the red candy melts in the microwave then transfer to a piping bag.Do the same with the semi-sweet or dark chocolate then transfer to a piping bag.
    2 tbsp Semi sweet, 1 tbsp Red candy melts
