Frequently asked questions – FAQ
How long these chocolate dipped Oreo Halloween cookies last?
These will last about 2 weeks if stored properly!
How to store this easy treat?
Store it in an airtight container or a ziplock bag in the fridge to keep it from melting and becoming messy. You can also store it on the counter at room temeprature as long as it is away from any heat source.
Can I make these gluten-free?
You sure can! Just use the gluten-free Oreos that they sell at your local grocery stores and make sure that both your chocolate as well as the Halloween decorations you are planning on using are gluten-free as well.
Can I use gel food coloring to color my chocolate?
This is a very tricky question because if you are using regular gel food coloring then absolutely not. The main reason is that it contains water in it and water with chocolate doesn’t combine well. You will end up with a seized chocolate that you can’t use to dip.
If you want to color your chocolate or candy melts, make sure to use a food coloring that is specifically suited for chocolate.
