Crumbl frozen hot chocolate cookies

This week, Crumbl decided to share a nice little twist on their famous hot chocolate cookies by making them “frozen”. Well, it is not technically frozen but it is served chilled so I guess that makes up for it.

This recipe is made with a thick chocolate cookie that is packed with milk chocolate chips to really give you that hot chocolate feel. These cookies are then topped with a homemade frozen hot chocolate mousse which actually uses a hot cocoa mix. Each cookie is topped with mini. marshmallows because you can’t have hot chocolate without marshmallows!

This is the best Crumbl frozen hot chocolate cookie recipe!

I have made a ton of Crumbl chocolate cookies, but let me tell you this one has a little something-something about it that pushes it to my top 10 list of favorite Chocolate Crumbl cookies. It is soft, chewy, and has this incredible mouth feel thanks to the frozen hot cocoa mousse on top! It truly is a recipe that you will need to try at least once!

  • You can make this at home and have it anytime! No need to wait for it to come back in stores.
  • It is the perfect cookie for chocolate lovers.
  • This cookie is great both in the winter and in the summer time.

Finally got some hot choc mix to make these I cant believe I took so long . I love these. The rich chocolate taste is so good I really like that the frosting is not overly sweet the frosting and cookie blends perfectly together. As always job well done my friend.

This cookie is soooo delish. I love that the frosting has actual hot chocolate powder!!! I didn’t have packets but a tub of mix, I calculated 6 tbsp. of mix and it was a smidge too sweet for me. Maybe 5? Probably depends on the hot cocoa mix you have.
The dough gets pretty hard to stir at the end, but keep going! The crumbl cookie i had was super dense, this recipe is a bit less dense.

Definitely depend on which hot chocolate you use but 5 tbsp sounds great!

LOVED THESE! My family and I did a tasting comparison, and we all agreed that we preferred this recipe over the crumbl made ones! Only change I made was subbing the heavy cream in the cookie for greek yogurt!

Perfect. Only thing I did differently was that I rolled 1 oz balls and got 24 out of mine. Baked for same amount of time, 10 minutes. Delicious. Thank you for another excellent recipe!

A new Crumbl location recently opened near me, so I finally got to try some of their amazing flavors, including this frozen hot chocolate one! I’m usually more of a warm cookie person, so I wasn’t sure how I’d take to a cookie served cold, but it was so delicious. Thanks for sharing all these Crumbl copycat recipes — can’t wait to try them!
