A few years ago, I worked at a restaurant that served fried Brussel sprouts. Me, being the person that doesn’t go out to eat too often, had never tried fried Brussel sprouts before!
The second I tried those fried Brussel sprouts at my old restaurant, I was hooked. That became my main source or nutrition… Obviously I wasn’t too proud of it because that dish was deep fried and packed with oil. I knew I wanted to recreate the fried Brussel sprouts from Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza and Grill but lighter by making it in the airfryer, so I did!
This is the best restaurant style air fried Brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze recipe ever!
I don’t take the previous phrase, lightly and neither does my family. They ask for this healthier veggie side dish time and time again because it is delicious and so packed with flavor.
To be honest, I don’t mind making it over and over again either because it is both healthy and tastes amazing, especially with the toppings that I like to add to them!

To make a good balsamic glaze at home, you always have to start with a good quality balsamic vinegar.
Now, if you’re using a very good quality balsamic vinegar you don’t even have to add anything to it, you can reduce it for as is and you’ll get a beautiful balsamic glaze. To reduce it, take about 2 cups of balsamic vinegar place them in a saucepan and heat on medium low heat for 20 minutes or until you have about ½ cup of balsamic glaze.
Let the glaze cool completely as it will thicken the more it cools down.
