Hello friends! I hope that you are doing amazing! I personally am doing pretty well, I just got back home from the gym and for once in my life, I have been able to stick to a training schedule. And oh my goodness it feels amazing! Here is how my split looks like for those who might be interested:

  • Mondays – upper body, mainly shoulders, and arms
  • Tuesdays – legs
  • Wednesdays – upper body, mainly back andchest
  • Thursdays – legs
  • Friday – Rest
  • Saturday – cardio and some legs

I make sure to incorporate some sort of an ab exercise every day ( which had been bringing me some awesome results) as well as a quick stretching session before every workout. I usually start with these two things and then dive right into my workout!

For today’s quote, I randomly found this one and really liked it. It is an Elon Musk quote and for those who do not know who this man is. Well, the easiest introduction would be that he is the guy behind all those Teslas you see everywhere. But if we are trying to get more into the nitty gritty of things, Elon as the American entrepreneur behind Paypal, Tesla motors as well as spaceX.

If something is important enough, even if the affd are against you, you should stil do it -Elon Musk

After reading this quote by him, I could not stop thinking about the fact that we often set our own limitations. We tend to find excuses as to why we can’t achieve what we dream of. But many others have done so why not you?  As many manifestation videos on youtube mention, everything is out there, it is only a matter of attracting it to you!

Well, guys, I strongly believe that this is our year. So whatever you want in life, go ahead and chase after it. It will have to be yours at some point!

Today’s recipe is something very simple but yet so necessary at my house! It is versatile and can make a simple dinner something so delicious. You guessed it, it is a very simplified Italian Marinara that could be used to make some quick delicious pasta dishes, pizza, and much more.

Easiest most delicious marinara sauce with a secret ingredient!

Here is the story behind this recipe, one day I got stuck watching youtube for a couple of hours. These videos that I couldn’t stop watching were the Epicurious cooking videos that are composed of an amateur cook, a home cook, and an expert chef. One of them was spaghetti and meatballs made by three different people, with three different techniques. At the end of this video, there was a food scientist expert that talked about each technique and how it is better or not so much as far as flavors go. This expert also spoke about using canned tomatoes and how to enhance the flavors of the sauce using this secret ingredient.

Since we are using the canned tomatoes which are typically autoclaved at a very high temperature, the enzymes that promote that delicious natural sweetness in the tomato sauce are deactivated because of the high heat.

So since we are wanting to remedy that canned flavor but without adding all that processed sugar, The juice of half of an orange is used. This secret ingredient might seem a little odd but it will make the end result perfectly delicious!

  • Get your hand blender and blend until you get a smooth marinara consistency.
  • Now you can either season to taste and enjoy or let it reduce a bit more depending on your likings. Me personally, I prefer it a little bit thicker so I simmered mine for an extra ten minutes after blending it.
