- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar depending on how sweet you like it.
- 1 & ½ cup whole milk or a combination of half and half and milk or heavy cream and milk for a richer hot chocolate.

- 2 squares dark chocolate roughly chopped
- ¼ teaspoon Vanilla extract

- In a medium saucepan, whisk the milk cocoa powder, sugar, and salt over low heat until dissolved.2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 & ½ cup whole milk, pinch of salt
