This recipe along with all her others, are 5 stars across the board. I can heavily rely on baking her recipes and they turn out delightful the first time which elimates trial and error for the person baking them. This recipe was amazing and so rich. I chose to do the layer of milk chocolate under the German chocolate frosting and it added more moisture to the cookie as a whole which I’m glad I did. I will say, this recipe seemed a little dryer than her other copy cat recipes. I’m wondering how I can make it a little more cake like in the future vs dryer, more crumbly

Hey Kaitlyn! What did you use to measure the ingredients? The cookies shouldn’t be dry 😳

These cookies were insanely amazing! So rich and decadent. The instructions were straightforward and all components were easy to make and extremely delicious!!

Quick question – when I remove my cookies from the oven to cool on the cookie sheet, they flatten out a lot more than I hope for! Is this normal? Any tips to keep them thick?

They probably flatten a bit much because before baking you flatten them more than you need to. So next time flatten them a tiny bit less!
