This Crumbl Original cookie featuring the golden Oreo cookies is an absolute banger! It came out the same week as the Crumbl Funfetti Milkshake Cookies copycat, and let me tell you!! It was insane. You can literally taste the golden oreo with every bite, add that sweet cream cheese frosting on top and we had a winner.
On the other hand, I really did feel that the Golden Oreo cookie plus the frosting from the Crumbl bakery was way too sweet. It almost burnt because of how sweet it was so leave that to me to turn it into the best cookie ever! I reduced the amount of sugar and increased the Oreos, AKA winning!

I made these cookies yesterday and they were super soft and chewy! They were really good fresh out of the oven but were even better a few hours after.
The taste also reminds me of Subway’s white chocolate macadamia nut cookies (which are my favorite)! Will definitely be making again!
Chahinez
Thank you Jasmine!

I have tried this recipe twice without any luck. They spread out like pancakes, I tried a little extra flour, chilling the dough. What am I doing wrong?
Chahinez
The only time these cookies would spread is when using double stuffed Oreos instead of regular stuffed Oreos. The moisture from the double filling will make these cookies spread too much. Hope this helped!
Chahinez
Barb wagner
Mine were regular not double stuffed. I’ll have to try them again.
Chahinez
That’s so weird. Definitely chill the cookies then.
Becky
Barb, I love making these copycat recipes. They are so delicious. I had the spreading problem until I started using the glass hack.
As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, place a glass around each cookie (the glass should be larger than the cookie) and give the cookie inside a spin. This quick swirl will help smooth any uneven edges. Also, if your cookies are larger than the glass, this will help get rid of the overcooked edges.
If this makes no sense, there are loads of videos on the web.
I use this method with all my cookies now and it really works.
Barbara
If you’re using European butter instead of regular butter that may be why🙂
Andy
Yep-Same, spread too thin, was a lack of flour I thought.
Amber
These look great—can’t wait to make them! Does the dough need to rest before baking?
Chahinez
These don’t require rest. Just prepare, bake, and enjoy!

Jenae
Hi! I’m wondering if you put whole Oreos (including the frosting) into the food processor, or if you scrape the frosting off and only use the cracker. Thanks for the recipe!
Chahinez
You put the whole Oreo in the food processor! Make sure to use regular stuffed and not double stuffed.
