I have been waiting for Crumbl to release their chocolate crunch cookies and this week they finally did it! These cookies are a play on the Little Debbie Star Crunch cookies and let me tell you, I’m here for it!

They are made with rice Krispy cereal, chocolate chips, caramel chips, and marshmallows. Pretty much what every kid and adult dreams about on a daily basis. So in an effort to allow you to have these beauties any time, I decided to make them available to recreate at home with this copycat recipe.

This is the best Crumbl chocolate crunch cookie recipe ever!

The one difference that I noticed when it comes to the Crumbl version VS the Little Debbie version is that the crumbl one seems to use milk chocolate in their version, which I’m all about.

Why you need to make this recipe!

  • They are super easy to make at home.
  • You can recreate these Crumbl chocolate crunch cookies at home for the holidays.
  • This recipe shows you how to make mini ones, not that you need to make them small!
  • These Crunchy chocolate treats are my family’s favorite 10 minute no bake dessert.
  • Chocolate cookies that can be made in both the microwave or the stove top, you pick!

Ingredients for this Crumbl chocolate crunch cookies

Here are the ingredients you will need to make this 10-minute no-bake dessert. Make sure to scroll down to the recipe card for the full detailed ingredient measurements.

  • Chocolate chips– For the same of keeping these Crumbl copycats , we will be using milk chocolate.
  • Caramel chips– This recipe uses caramel chips as well. You should be able to find them at your local grocery store, they are more readily available during the holidays but you can also purchase them on amazon. These are caramel chips not the Kraft caramel balls. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of looking for them you can always make your own homemade caramel sauce instead.
  • Marshmallows– You will need mini marshmallows because they’re easier to melt.
  • Butter– The butter will add extra richness to these no bake treats.
  • Rice Krispy cereal– The rice Krispy cereal is what will give that iconic Crunch to these cookies.

Frequently asked questions – FAQ

How to store these Crumbl chocolate Crunch cookies?

You can store these no-bake cookies in an air-tight container for up to 1 week.

You can also refrigerate them in an air-tight container and they will last a bit longer that way. Just make sure to pull them out of the fridge a little before you’re planning to enjoy them so they get some time to soften up a little.

Help! My star crunch mixture is so sticky!

Don’t worry about it being sticky, it’s completely normal. Think of these as close cousins to the infamous rice Krispy treats, those are super sticky because of the marshmallows and these will be too.

The trick or secret here is to either spray your hands with nonstick spray or grease them with a little bit of oil. That will allow you to be able to flatten the cookies easily on the baking sheet without them sticking everywhere.

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchement paper or a silicone mat and set aside.

Notes

These cookies can be made with both store-bought caramel chips or homemade caramel sauce. To me, the result is better both look-wise as well as taste-wise when you use your own homemade caramel. Try using this homemade caramel sauce recipe to make your own fail-proof caramel at home.

My husband loves Star Crunches so I decided to give these a try. They were delicious! My only issue with them was how extremely sticky they were. I almost needed to coat my hands, parchment paper, and the silicone mats I used in something. I think next time I would roll them in my hands (covered in oil) so that way maybe some of the oil transfers to the cookies and they don’t stick to the parchment paper.

These are so good! They are exactly like the ones I had at Crumbl. I used store bought caramel sauce since I could not find the caramel chips. They were awesome! My daughter and I had so much fun making these and they were so easy to make too!!
