Tips to make the best peanut butter rice Krispies treats.
I have made my fair share of failed Krispy treats and I want to be the person that helps you make yours a winner on your first try!
- Use fresh marshmallows– This one is simple but believe it of not, my first try of this recipe, I used stale marshmallows because I didn’t want to waste anything and they turned out rock hard. You don’t want that I promise you!
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper- To make your life easier, and for a quicker way to pull out the rice krispy treats from the pn, line it with parchment paper.
- Cooking spray or water is your bff to avoid the mixture from sticking to your hands- Gently spray a little cooking spray or wet your hands and shake off any excess water and spread the rice Krispie treats on the pan.
- Don’t press the rice krispy treats too hard in the pan– If you pack thesr rice Krispies in the pan you will end up with a dense and hard treat and that’snot what we want. You want to gently press the mixture to cover the whole pan without pressing it too hard.
