Healthy tajin pineapple popsicles

Hello everyone!

It is hot as heck here in Las Vegas… It happened way too quickly and I am not happy about it if we are completely honest… That’s why I decided to make these beauties!

This is a healthy pineapple Tajin frozen popsicle treat that only has 0 WW points!

Here is a story you probably didn’t know about me!

Years ago I was a weight watchers member. That’s the thing that actually kick started by health and fitness journey It thought me portion control and how to still have a little bit of everything while being smart about my choices.

I remember the second time around for me was soo fun because fruits were 0 points!!! Oh man… I was in fruit heaven. I had fruit at every meal and snack because I needed my sugar fix without breaking the WW points bank.

Thinking about it now, I had way too much sugar per day but it is always better to have fruit sugars instead of donuts and cake on a regular basis.

So yes, I started making these 0 points weight watchers desserts to enjoy a late night dessert too in the summer time and that’s how these pineapple banana tajin popsicles came to life!

What’s so special about these no sugar added pineapple popsicles ?

These popsicles are some of the best healthy popsicles ever!

  • Easy to make
  • Stay soft
  • Super super fruity
  • Hydrating and are the perfect treat for hot summer days
  • No sugar added recipe
  • Best of all they have 0 weight watchers points!

Tools needed to make the best weight watchers pineapple popscles

  • A popsicle tray
  • A blender

Ingredients for this 0 WW points dessert

  • Frozen pineapple– I like to use frozen pineapple to allow these popsicles to freeze faster and stay softer when they freeze.
  • Banana– Banana adds extra sweetness to the 0 WW point popsicle
  • Lemon juice– Lemon juice add a balanced tang to the popsicles
  • Water
  • Tajin seasoning– If you are a Tajin fan add some or a lot… but if you’re not the biggest fan, feel free to omit.

How to make these no sugar added pineapple popsicles

Combine all the ingredients above except the tajin in a blender or a food processor and pulse until you get a smooth mixture.

Fill up 8 of your popsicle molds halfway through, then sprinkle some tajin in the middle . Top the popsicles with the rest of the fruit mixture and sprinkle some tajin on top again. Place the lid back on the popsicle molds and gently stick a popsicle stick in.

Carefully, place the popsicle molds in the freezer and freeze for 4 to 8 hours or overnight. The mixture needs to be completely frozen.

When you are ready to enjoy these healthy pineapple popsicles, pull them out of the freeze and let them sit at room temperature for 1-3 minutes depending on the temperature of the room. Gently pull the stick to remove the popsicle from the mold and enjoy!

How to store homemade popsicles?

If you are making this healthy 0 point weight watchers dessert just for yourself, you cal always store them for later!

To store these homemade popsicles remove each one from the popsicle mold and wrap it in plastic wrap or parchement paper. Place it in an airtight container and repeat the process with the rest of the 0 WW point popsicles.

The popsicles can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months but trust me they probably won’t last that long!
