How to Make Pretzel Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 & 3/4 cups Pretzel crumbs about 3 - 3 & 1/2 cups of mini pretzels

Instructions

Baked

  • Preheat oven to 350°F, then grease a 9-inch pie pan lightly.
  • Crush pretzels into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.

  • Mix the pretzel crumbs with sugar and melted butter until well combined.
    1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup butter
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of the pie pan using a spoon or measuring cup.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and set. Let it cool completely before filling.

Unbaked

  • Crush pretzels into fine crumbs. Mix with powdered sugar instead of granulated sugar and melted butter until combined.
  • Press the mixture evenly into a greased 9-inch pie pan.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before adding the filling.
