DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookies (Official Recipe)

These famous Doubletree chocolate chip cookies are a staple dupe recipe to your favorite hotel's treats!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter softened, salted or unsalted
  • 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour spooned and leveled, or weighed preferably.
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 2 2/3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 3/4 cups chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300F then line a few large baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter, graunualted sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and lemon juice, and mix again until fully incorporated. Make sure to scrape down the bowl.

  • Add in the flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and mix again to combine. Do not overmix the cookie dough. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.

  • Using a 3-tablespoon cookie scooper, scoop out the cookie dough and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-23 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden and the center is soft.
  • Allow the cookies to cool down on the baking sheet for an hour before enjoying them!
