- Cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
Notes
- To measure out the flour, use the spoon and sweet method. Spoon the flour into the measuring cup and sweep the excess off with a flat knife or spatula. This will give you a more accurate measurement next to weighings.

I just made these! They are still cooling on the rack. They are the perfect texture, exactly what I was looking for a nice chewy cookie! NOT CAKEY!
I let them cool on the warm baking sheet and I left them in for a couple more minutes as they did not look quite done yet.
Also I really like how on the directions it states again how much of the ingredient to use. That is clutch! lastly they have a really nice shine to them which I am assuming is from the corn starch.

I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed the cookies and that they turned out with the perfect chewy texture—exactly what you were looking for! Letting them cool on the warm baking sheet and giving them a few extra minutes was a smart move. I’m thrilled that the detailed ingredient directions were helpful, and yes, that lovely shine is likely from the cornstarch. Thank you!
