I have been a peanut butter fan for as long as I remember. I also have been a crunch chocolate bar for probably even longer than that. Now mixing both of my loved into a healthier treat is what I’m talking about.

The crunch aspect of these peanut butter rice krispy balls makes them totally dangerous. Seriously, I have 5 in one sitting one night while watching a sappy movie.

These are the best healthier for you reindeer peanut butter balls with rice krispies ever! (you need to make them ASAP)

So I took two of my long (not so lost) loves and made them into the best balls that would be totally fitting this holiday season. Mix a few ingredients together in a bowl (yes ladies and gents, this is a one bowl recipe, I guess if we don’t count the little bowl to melt the chocolate?) Roll them, freeze them, dip them, and decorate them for a super fun Christmas activity.

I don’t have kids but I know for a fact that they are the most fun things to make with children because… Well, let’s be honest, I am a child at heart! And I am obsessed with making cute things. It allows you to be so creative!

To make these adorable reindeer looking balls, here are the ingredients that you will need:

  • Smooth peanut butter- The smooth peanut butter is gonna act as our glue and as our main flavor profile.
  • Chia seeds– Chia seeds will add some nutrition, fiber, and omega 3’s. They will also add a nice crunch to these no bake peanut butter balls.
  • Flax seeds– Flax seeds will also add a ton of nutrition into these balls, they are loaded with fiber, omega 3’s and protein.
  • Cinnamon– This ingredient can be omitted if you’d like I just like a little hint of cinnamon in my holiday bakes.
  • Honey– Honey will add sweetness to this recipe as well as act like glue to keep everything together.
  • Puffed rice cereal– The crushed puffed cereal is going to be our rice krispies part. It will add an amazing crunch to these PB balls for a fun textural element!
  • Chocolate chipsYou can use semi sweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips, whatever you prefer. These will be melted and will be used to cover our cute reindeer balls.
  • Coconut oil– The coconut oil will be mixed with the chocolate chips to make it a little smoother and easier to work with.
  • Candy eyes– I used my halloween leftover candy eyes.
  • Red chocolate balls – You can find those colored mini chocolate bombs used to make cosmic brownies at your local grocery store, just pick the red ones for the nose.
  • PretzelThe pretzels are going to be used as our reindeer antlers. They can be a little hard to cut so have a lot on hand in case they break on you.

  • When making your peanut butter balls, if the mixture is too soft and sticky, place it in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  • The antlers can be a little tricky to cut so make sure to have plenty on hand for all those fails. If you have a lot of failed reindeer antlers, make our Out of this World Pretzel Brownies without cocoa powder.
