Viral Tiktok upside down pastries (mini tarte tatin)
These viral tiktok upside-down pastries are a delicious way to enjoy a tarte tatin or other treats using the upside-down pastry hack!

- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed overnight in the fridge
- 1 large apple slides
- 6 tbsp honey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tbsp water
- powdered sugar for topping (optional)
- Ice cream for topping (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 400F then line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 
- Unroll the puff pastry on your work surface then slice it into 6 puff pastry rectangles. - 1 sheet puff pastry 
- Now onto the parchment paper, drizzle about 2 teaspoons of honey equally spaced so that you can fit all 6 puff pastries. - 6 tbsp honey 
- Top the honey dollops with the sliced apples. About 4-6 slices per dollop, then add about 1 tsp drizzled honey on top. - 1 large apple 
- Place a blanket of puff pastry on top of each apple cluster. Gently press the edges down to seal. 
- Brush each puff pastry rectangle with egg wash and bake for 15  minutes. - 1 egg, 1/2 tbsp water 
- Serve with a  dusting of powdered sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream or caramel and enjoy! - powdered sugar, Ice cream
