- 12 oz fresh or frozen rhubarb 2½ cups
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt optional, but enhances flavor
Add rhubarb, salt, water, and sugar to a medium saucepan. Let sit for 5–10 minutes to help soften the frozen fruit.
