  • food processor or a blender


  • 1 ripe medium avocado about 95 grams
  • 2 tablespoon orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon orange zest extra for topping
  • 2 tablespoon dutch cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup melted semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extracts
  • a pinch sea salt


  • Start by washing, halving, and scooping your avocado flesh into the food processor or blender.
  • Add in the orange juice, the orange zest, dutch cocoa powder, melted chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix everything for 1-2 minutes or until smooth. Taste the mousse and adjust it to your likings.
  • Using a piping bag, fill you ramequins or glasses and refrigerate the chocolate orange avocado mousse for at least 30 minutes.
  • Optional: top with coconut whipped cream and some extra orange zest, and enjoy your delicious and healthy avocado dessert!
