Chocolate orange avocado mousse
This chocolate orange avocado mousse is one of the easiest dessert on the planet! Throw everything in the blender, cool, and serve. It is also the perfect guilt free dessert
Servings: 2 servings
- 1 ripe medium avocado about 95 grams
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1/2 tsp orange zest extra for topping
- 2 tbsp dutch cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup melted semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extracts
- a pinch sea salt
Start by washing, halving, and scooping your avocado flesh into the food processor or blender.
Add in the orange juice, the orange zest, dutch cocoa powder, melted chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Mix everything for 1-2 minutes or until smooth. Taste the mousse and adjust it to your likings.
Using a piping bag, fill you ramequins or glasses and refrigerate the chocolate orange avocado mousse for at least 30 minutes.
Optional: top with coconut whipped cream and some extra orange zest, and enjoy your delicious and healthy avocado dessert!
