Peppermint Latte Recipe

This Peppermint Latte recipe is made with bold espresso shots and high-quality peppermint syrup to get you into the holiday spirit.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot of espresso a single or double work fine
  • 8 oz steamed milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 & 1/2 Monin Peppermint Syrup adjust to taste
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping
  • Crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare your espresso shot or strong coffee and pour it into your favorite mug.

  • Stir in Monin Peppermint Syrup until fully combined.
    1 & 1/2 Monin Peppermint Syrup
  • Heat and froth the milk using a steamer, handheld frother, or by warming it in a saucepan and whisking vigorously.
    8 oz steamed milk
  • Slowly pour the steamed milk over the espresso mixture, holding back the foam with a spoon. Once the mug is full, top with the foam.
  • Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of crushed candy canes, or chocolate shavings for extra flair.

Notes

Tips for Success:
Adjust the sweetness by increasing or reducing the amount of Monin Peppermint Syrup.
For a stronger peppermint flavor, add an extra ½ tbsp of syrup.
