Copycat FLIPz Chocolate-Covered Pretzels

This Chocolate Covered Pretzels recipe is made with mini pretzels and creamy chocolate, this tasty dessert is fun to make and great to eat!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt or sprinkles optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat for easy cleanup.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, add the melting chocolate and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
    1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • Alternatively, melt the chocolate in a double boiler on the stovetop.
  • Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate, making sure it’s fully coated.
    2 cups mini pretzels
  • Gently shake off any excess chocolate and place the coated pretzels onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Allow the pretzels to sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens, or speed up the process by placing them in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  • Once set, your FLIPz-inspired chocolate-covered pretzels are ready to enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.

Optional Toppings:

  • If desired, sprinkle sea salt or sprinkles on top of the chocolate-covered pretzels before the chocolate sets.
