Light brown sugar
Use dark brown sugar for a darker caramel.

Granulated sugar

Corn syrup

Instructions
Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, corn syrup, and butter into a heavy bottom pot over medium heat.
1/3 cup Light brown sugar,
1/3 cup Granulated sugar,
2 tbsp Corn syrup,
1/2 cup Butter
Stir continuously until everything is melted and combined. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream at room temperature. Stir until combined and be careful of any splashing that may happen.
1/2 cup Heavy cream
Allow the caramel to come back to a boil then simmer for 2 minutes again while stirring constantly.
Remove from the heat, add vanilla extract and some salt and stir to combine.
1/8 tsp Salt,
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Allow the caramel to cool down a little before transferring to a jar or your serving bowl.
