- Neon green food coloring– I used a neon gel food coloring when mixing my wet ingredients, this will give the cookies a stunning green color.

- Candy hearts- These are used to symbolize the grinch’s small heart.
- Green sugar– This is for if you decide to roll your cookies in green food coloring instead of in regular granulated sugar.
How to make these Grinch Christmas cookies?

- Cream the butter and sugar together until creamy.
- Add in the egg white, vanilla extract and green gel food coloring. This is going to yield the most beautiful green cookies.
- Mix in the dry ingredients just until the flour mixture disappears.
- Using a small cookie scooper, scoop out the cookie dough, roll each cookie dough ball in granulated sugar or green sugar sprinkles, place on a parchment paper baking sheet, top with a heart candy sprinkle, and bake in the preheated oven.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 large egg white
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon neon green food coloring
- 1 &⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar for rolling the cookies, or green sprinkle sugar
- Heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Start by preheating the oven to 350F, then line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a stand mixer cream the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar together using a paddle attachement until light in color and fluffy. Add in the egg white and the vanilla and mix again for 30 seconds or until fully incorporated. Mix in the gel food coloring.1 stick butter, ½ cup granulated sugar, 2 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 large egg white, 1 teaspoon vanilla, ½ teaspoon neon green food coloring
- Add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix just until the flour disappears. Using a small cookie scooper, scoop out equally sized cookie dough balls, roll them in the sugar and place them on the parchment lined baking sheet. Make sure to leave 2 inches between each cookie because they will spread. Top the cookies with a red heart before baking.1 &⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon all purpose flour, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, ⅓ cup granulated sugar, Heart sprinkles
- Bake the cookies for 8 minutes, pull them out and let them rest on the cookie sheet for 5-10 minutes then transfer to a cooling wrack. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.
