hemp seed chocolate bliss balls

This super easy recipes is as satisfying as can be! It is made using peanut butter hemp seed cacao and peanut butter.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup dates ( about 8 dates)
  • 1-2 tablespoon hot water optional, use only if your dates are a little hard
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup + 2 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder

optional drizzle

  • 1-2 tablespoon chocolate chips for topping
  • more hemp seeds for topping

Instructions

  • First start by pitting the dates and placing them in a food processor, add in 1 tablespoon of hot water at a time and pulsate until a ball forms.
  • Add in the peanut butter, hemp seeds and cocoa powder and pulse a few more times to combine everything. The dough should be moist but still holds its shape. If the dough is too wet add a little bit more cocoa powder.
  • Refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes then using a tablespoon, scoop out some of dough and gently roll it into balls. Place the hemp seed bliss balls on a parchment lined baking sheet. there should be about 12 equally sized balls.
  • Is a small bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave about 30 seconds at a time then drizzle it on the chocolate bliss balls. Top with a sprinkle of hemp seeds and place back in the fridge to set.

Notes

To store these chocolate hemp seed bliss balls place them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. 
You can also freeze these in an airtight container and they will last up to 3 months.
