Homemade Strawberry Milk Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cup strawberries slices
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • milk very cold

Instructions

  • Add the rinsed and hulled diced strawberries, sugar, and water in a medium pot over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes stirring from time to time.

  • Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the syrup into a small cup, use the strained strawberries in other recipes like smoothies or oatmeal.
  • Add about ¼ cup of the strawberry syrup to 1 cup of cold milk and enjoy! Add more or less to taste.
