- 2 cup AP flour
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 2 & ½ tablespoon granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 & ¾ cup buttermilk
- ½ cup butter melted, salted or unsalted
- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix the flour, corn starch, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl.
Whisk the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla together in a medium bowl.
Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and whisk just until combined. Don't over mix.
Preheat the waffle iron while the batter is resting for a few minutes.
Spray the waffle iron with non stick cooking spray if necessary. then pour the batter into the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer's directions or until the steam stops.
Serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup!
